Full Page Capture is a free browser extension published by Vijay Kumar Gilakattula (fivenumber.com).
What the extension does
When you click the extension’s toolbar icon, it captures a full-page screenshot of the tab you are viewing by scrolling that page and stitching the frames into one image. It then opens a preview tab where you can download or copy that image.
What data is collected
None. The extension does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data, browsing history, page content, or screenshots.
- The screenshot is created and stitched entirely on your own device.
- It is held temporarily in the browser’s local extension storage only so the preview tab can display it. It never leaves your machine and is not sent to any server, including ours.
- The extension has no analytics, no tracking, and no remote code.
Permissions
- activeTab – lets the extension capture and script only the tab you click on, granted per click. It has no standing access to other sites.
- scripting – injects small helper functions (measure the page, scroll it) into that tab.
- storage / unlimitedStorage – temporarily holds the finished image so the preview tab can show it.
The extension does not request broad host access or the debugger permission.
